Buruj Sports Academy have been handed a tough test after being drawn to face Synergy Ultimate Strikers in the second round stage of this year’s Lagos State FA Cup.
According to the fixtures released by the organisers over the weekend, the Double Champion (Buruj) are billed to confront Synergy Ultimate inside Agege Stadium on Saturday 12th of May by 10.am to decide which of the two sides will make it to the next round.
While reacting to the development, the CEO of the academy Salaudeen
Waheed, admits that his boys will face a tough battle against their opponents, the task of beating them is attainable based on the level of preparation and quality of players who will be on parade.
“We will face a very good side in Synergy Ultimate but we will be well prepared for them. We ‘ve played them a couple of times in friendly game and they defeated us but this time around, we will must provide appropriate answer to their threat.”
“We have a very young team and our ambition is to go far in the competition. If our players can listen to instructions and play up to their potentials, then, we will be okay, ” he submitted
