I am more matured now to lead TAMPAN-MR LATIN

A popular Nollywood actor and producer, Bolaji Amusan aka Baba Latin has come out clear that he is set to lead the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, (TAMPAN,) even as the general election of the association has been tentatively fixed for the eleventh month of the year (November)

We  exclusively gathered that the likes of incumbent president, Dele Odule, Jide Kosoko, Antar Laniyan, Odunlade Adekola, Faithia Balogun, Muyiwa Ademola, Saidi Balogun, and other A list actors and actresses are all in support of Baba Latin who celebrated his 30th years on stage  few months back ( February, 2018 to be precise)

When we  put a call to Latin to confirm if truly he has the backing of the elders to gun for the highest post in TAMPAN, he did not deny it

“Yes I have the backing of elders who believed in my experience to lead the association in this next dispensation.”

When asks how would he lead the association if eventually he was elected to lead the association for four years, he has this to say

“I am more matured now to lead the association. Talk of humanity, honesty, sincerity, accountability, acceptability I have it all, and with the help of my other colleagues both old and new I think I will lead the association well. But my priority will be to cleanse the industry of all non professionals who are bent to soiled the image of the association but me alone cannot do it, that is why I said with the help of my colleagues we shall do it together. I also plan to do this by organizing a congress for the stakeholders in the industry with the theme: a way forward. A lawyer is lawyer a doctor is a doctor so an actor should also be an actor not just anyhow people. We need to cleanse the industry of unprofessionalism; our industry should not be for every Dick and Harry”

We also gathered that the campaign on election has been lifted so that all candidates can go full blast in their campaign
